Alex Mlynárčik
1934 born in Žilina, Czechoslovak Republic 1959 – 1965 studied of monumental painting on Academy of Art in Bratislava and one year on AVU Prague 1964 he met French art theoretician Pierre Restany, what affect all his life 1965 together with Stanislav Filko and Zita Kostrová created Happsoc I., first conceptual art in Slovakia 1971 he established group of prospective architecture VAL, together with architects Viera Mecková a Ladislav Kupkovič 1974 founded Argillia – the clay kingdom from elsewhere. It was the Duchampian ready-made of a state and participated on it a lot of art authorities from all over the world. (P. Restany, J. Chalupecký, M. Ragon, G. Bertini, E. Dietmann, or cosmonaut E. A. Cernan...) With Mlynárčik participated on his actions 274 artists, architects, musicians and theorists.
